I bought a 52 that was in a bard for about 20 years ,its got a 216 in it . I put a set of plugs ,points,cap,rotor button, wires and a new fuel pump and she fired right up!!!! blow a big old rat nest out the exhaust but it still runs everyday. So i think I would have to try it .
