I'm having a hard time picturing what your saying, there arn't any threads to screw the nipples into. Or do the nippes slide over the bolts?
Lemme clarify a tad:
I was thinking about using 7/16" bolts that don't thread into the holes. They go into the hole about 1/2" deep with only a slight amount of play. If they bolt happened to sheer off, I would be able to remove the remaining bit with a magnet.
