I agree with Yelostn 78. The 216 is a great engine. It sounds good, and with a little maintenance, it runs strong. And as for speed, its enough. Every day for me on my 35 mile commute I hit 50 mph for at least five or ten minutes, the rest of it's city driving. With the 5.14 rear end in my truck, I still average 16 mpg. That's as good as any truck I've driven, especially in the city.
