There are many different interpretations of original. An original in my opinion still has everything it came from the factory with. When you change the tires, the brake shoes, points & plugs, etc., you no longer have an original vehicle. A repaint is definately not "original".
Some people think "restored to original specs" is the same as original. I disagree. Putting a generator back on your truck will not make it an original.
