Thanks for your efforts. Most time I think people just suggest that 4/0 cable because it is a simple (but often incorrect) fix for some other problem. That other problem is sometimes cheaper to fix then replacing with 4/0 cables.
I often find it interesting that people dismiss what the OEM had figured out long ago. That is, what is the most economical solution. They didn't pay those engineers for nothin'!
