Thanks 48bigtrucks. I cleaned the tank out last fall and re-sealed it.
That doesn't mean it's clean. I had some of that sealer come loose and gum up a carb once. Also, the inside of the fuel lines could be coming apart, etc. It takes a long time for an old system to run clean after it gets dirty/rusty. Once you have rust, you always have rust,
