I would suggest you get a Chevrolet parts book or if you like I can send you a complete spec. sheet for both or all three engines, The 35 & 36 engines share more parts then 34-35 engines. Casting numbers on 34 Master car and 34 Master truck 837231 (note the truck engine uses a Standard car intake manifold and has is not drilled for the LH side engine mount), 35 casting number is 837591 for all Standard, Master and truck engines. The casting number on the 36 engine is 886010. The 34 cylinder head will not work on a 35 or 36 block as the coolant holes are in different locations. Another way to tell if you have a car or truck eng. is to look at the stamped serial number behind the fuel pump Car starts with a number, 1/2 ton with a K, and 1.5 ton with a T.
