The first 1935 Chevrolet 1-1/2 ton Trucks were built December 17, 1934 at Janesville, Norwood, Buffalo and Atlanta. St louis and Kansas City started on the 18th and Flint and Tarrytown started on the 19th. Oakland started 1-2-35 while Bloomfield started on the 3rd and Baltimore was last to start on March 11, 1935...they were a brand new factory in '35. All 1935 Truck production stopped between August 23--30, 1935.
All serial numbers in 1935 started with 1001. There is no way to ever know the exact date your truck was built, the best we can do is ID the month.
