If the engine and trans are original 34 look at the casting numbers on the engine & trans (4 speed) at rear of top cover and the side of main housing of trans.& Pass. side of engine between distr. & fuel pump. They will be one letter for the month cast; A= Jan. B=Feb and so on, the next two numbers are the day and the last is the year which should be 4 (possibly 3 if the truck is a very early built truck and letter is K or L.
