Joel, I can't get in and look at it right now (site not responding) but I had noticed the same thing about mine. When you look at it directly from the side the rear wheels appear to be a couple inches too far forward. I figured it was screwed up when the PO swapped the axle for an '88 Dana 73. Maybe it is where it was supposed to be after all...
I was definitely planning on moving it back a couple inches when I get the frame and body separated.
