1.5 ton duallie panels were offered from the factory during the Art Deco era - there is one in the features page at Jim Carter's. AD trucks never had the option, but it looks like some upfitters did a good job converting them. I've heard that a few may have been made by GM for the military, but they may have been conversions, too.
Notice the running boards on the AD in the auction - flared to match the fenders. Nice work.
