I know it's a lot to swallow, I'm kind of long winded, don't like to leave any thing out Builder, so I'll say it again,"new gas charged heavy duty shocks all round".

The rounding out, most of the trips have been around 20 miles. Started driving in '57 and spent my first 25yers of live living in the garage with dad, brother and all my friends. All we had back then were bias ply tires and of course there was the thump, thump for a few miles but only a few miles. I never remember them taking twenty or thirty miles to round out, if that were the case everybody in town would have been all shook up as a 20 mile trip was a trip to the next town and we just dint travel that far that often in a small town.

Don't forger we're talkin 3/4 ton here. I'd Love to put radials all round but I can't find an eight lug wheel that looks original and that will clear the tie rods with out having them custom made or stuffing an adaptor behind it. That's still a litte out of my price range right now anyway. Besides the new Chin made bias plies on the front aren't the problem, I could leave a glass of water on the front fender and it wouldn't splash out, that is unless I hit a bump, it's the rear tires the are hopping round and when you hit just the right harmonic where the natural frequency of the frame is at that of the rear tire it starts the frame to vibrate also.
