My son-in-law works for the local bus system FAX (Fresno Area Express) and they are in the process of converting their whole fleet of over 120 busses to CNG (Compressed Natural Gas), and have no problems related to fuel. Their mileage is short of the diesel power and power is down and the fuel system costs a lot more around $100,000 per bus, but local politicians thought they are doing the environmentally correct thing (even though actual tests show that diesel engines of today burn as clean as CNG and have more power and better fuel mileage). Seems like any "alternate fuel" just doesn't perform as well as petroleum products.
