Good thread, David, I'll be interested in hearing how the project goes. This past winter we heated our house with
corn for the first time. Since I'll be buying corn in bulk for our stove anyway, I've been thinking about building a small still and experimenting with homemade ethanol in my tank. If it does happen (lots of other projects with higher priority
) I figured I would start by just adding 10% ethanol at each fill-up rather than trying to convert immediately to E85. Keep us up to date.
