I think Stacy David from "Trucks" used a frame like that but beefed it up from there. It was on the "Copperhead" 67 Chevy C10 series. He added alot of cross bracing and even a driveshaft loop for rigidity. I think you'll lose all truckability putting a performance/car frame under a pick-up. That's just my opinion though,
