I used a 2 part putty that came in a roll and you cut off how much you need and then mix it in your hand by squishing it. The center of the roll was one part and the outside was the other part. I dodn't remember the name of it. maybe sombody else will know. I used to patch my gas tank as gas was running out it worked great and is still holding.
