My PO on my 66 C-10 said that he had "restored" it. After my parents bought it for my 16th birthday, me and my dad started really digging around on it and found that the "restoration" involved grinding out the body rust, covering the holes with chicken wire and bondo, and a fresh coat of paint. Now that the bondo is flaking off, dad and I are going to restore it right. Some of the hillbilly engineering was done done by either of the PO's or me and dad. But it gets the job done like Fumblin46 said, and we use it like Chevorlet meant it to be used, on a farm, loaded to the max. Also, its almost like a fine wine, the truck just gets better with time.
