Guess I was a lucky one then. The previous two owners of my truck were senior gentlemen so the truck wasn't beat to pieces. In fact the first owner had put a camper shell on the truck two weeks after he took delivery and found out I was the first one to remove it probably 13-15 years later. The bed wood was like it was in 1959 save for a few surface scratches. Really the only thing wrong with the truck was the engine was wore slap out with 80,000 miles but I knew that going in. That engine is on its second rebuild and still going strong in the truck.
