Bob, I am going the V8 route, but I wish I had an additional truck with the inline 6 just to cruise around town. If you are just wanting an old truck to putt around in, I say go with the inline 6. It is easier to put one in and the stock radiator, electrical system, suspension and drive line are made for the 6. On the other hand, if you want to show the punk kids in the Mustangs who's boss, put the v8 in it.
