Bringing the truck home on Friday, turns out it is a '50 not a '52. Leaning a bit towards putting a 261 with the stock 3 spd transmission but want to look at how much it would cost to buy and rebuild a 261 first.
I'm a bit short on garage space for the next year or so, can anyone tell me roughly how long a '52 1/2 ton shortbox is from bumper to bumper?
I will try to put up some pictures soon, it's a real project truck though.
