I have a couple of 292 cu. in. 6 cyl. engines, built up a bit and put out 350 H.P. enough to beat up on most street driven V-things. My 2400 lb. '32 Chev. pickup will probably run mid 12 sec. et's. I put hundreds of thousands of miles on 235's, probably the most bullet proof engine ever built. My '53 bone stock with Fenton Headers ran 16 flat e.t's at 80 MPH back in 1954. Go with the 6 cyl. you won't regret it, better mileage and way less maintenance.
