Yep this is gonna get contentious--I agree with Palmer building a car with new parts and licensing it as a prior year is an obvious effort to evade pollution control.
Moreover, I think that efforts to control vehicles are gonna escalate-- gas prices for one thing--I paid $40.00 to fill up a diesel benz(16 gal)today--can't imagine what one of these huge SUVs must cost. The operating costs of these vehicles are gonna force everybody onto bikes likely.
Got a neighbor just bought two vespa type deals-- pretty comical--but drives em eveywhere..claims its fun too. Prolly ought to buy Harley stock. People gonna be fightin over SUVs, big cars, trucks--gonna be a big social issue. Whose usin up the fuel and escalatin price. Gonna eventually be strict legislation. Best to buy those vintage bikes now. Hope we don't reach the point where John and Peg gotta outlaw truck discussions as too argumentative.
