i pulled a 53 chevy 1/2 ton from virginia to new york on a uhaul trailer with my old 98 ford 1/2 ton with no problems whatsoever. Im not sure if you know about the hills in virginia but there are some big ones. I made it no probs 65 mph's all the way. I also pulled a 57 1/2 ton chevy home from Philidelphia with the same setup with no problems. I now have a brandy new GMC with a brake controller so i dont even worry about it. one thing tho, Uhaul trailers are HEAVY.
