When I was growing up in Holland (still working on that), there were a lot of metal flat farmers boats around. These would have been used to move everything up and down the rivers. People would put a VW bus body on them and they would make an instant yacht. Pretty cute looking too. I will take a look on google for a picture but that might be hard to find.
