I am a regular for coffee at a downtown restaurant and always see the same faces. One of these faces belongs to an older gentleman who comes in every morning in his work truck and sits with his colleagues. Don't know his name but as always we nod to each other in passing. This morning he came in wearing his blue blazer, grey flannels and a chest full of medals! I was very moved. He was on his way to the memorial service. Goes to show, you never know who they are for the most part. As I walked by him on the way out I said "thank you" and left it at that. I think and hope he understands my thanks and appreciation.
