I have one question for you. Does your gas gauge work? If not I would pull the sending unit and see if the float is still attached. I had a random fuel issue I chased for over a year. The float came off and sank to the bottom. It would roll over the outlet and block the fuel outlet. Then you would stop and it would roll off the outlet and work fine.
