I can only run the tank about 1/2 full. There appear to be no baffles in the tank. If I fill it much more than 1/2 way and go around a tight left turn at speed I get gas out the filler neck. I run it between a tad over 1/2 full and a quarter tank. I know it makes no sense, but when I stop the truck and go into a store briefly but don't add gas I don't get the problem. Also, it used to only happen occasionally; now it's more common. I'm thinking the next logical step is to buy a rebuild kit for the fuel pump. It's at least 30 years old and, although it's been regularly used, it's got to be tired. Just seems like a logical starting point that can't hurt. Thanks for all the suggestions. I love this site!
