Depends on how much extra time you have, what equipment that you have to work with, and how good you can weld.
Unless you have access to a metal working, or machine shop, do your research and buy the best that you can afford. You can get good quality items made from most countries. You just need to look at what you are buying. It's getting more difficult to buy items made in the US.
