I think my most used tool is my hand (angle) grinder. I use it for everything, but it is probably my most dangerous tool. You only have to get something in your eye once before you learn to use goggles. Actually the removal of the metal sliver wasn't so bad--it was the removal of the rusty tissue around the embeddment point that really hurt!
