Well I guess the first post and reply's got closed, I sorry if I made anybody mad. Here's the final installment.
I tested the gauge with a 9v battery and when I power up the red jumper wire the gauge moves almost center of the gauge, I tried it with a light bulb in the circuit it was the same, so I'm going to install it, wire up the alt, start it up and see if any smoke escapes anywhere.
