Another tank won't change the cfm, that's limited by the compressor. Linking two compressors with a manifold could do what you need. My neighbor had two smaller units and hooked them together. It worked for him.
Two tanks together would give you a bit more lead time if you let it run up to pressure, but then you still have more space to refill once it goes down.
