One more caution that I don't think was covered. Try to only buy an engine stand with FOUR wheels. Wheels spaced the same distance apart, front and rear. These will also enable timbering across the bottom beams if you desire front motor support and still roll.
Also I bolted a plywood piece to my stand plate to clamp on, and work on, small outboard motors.
