A .091" orifice is for a YF used on a large Ford 6 cylinder...think it was a 300 cubic inch engine. Way too big, but that's what they put in all the cheaper kits. You'll flood the tar out of a 216 with that. I don't understand why the larger orifice would cause the carb to flood. Seems to me that when the float was lifted enough it would close and reasonable size opening as long as the needle would cover the hole. What am I missing?
