Took my "848" 235 head to my local machine shop and had them drill the coolant holes. Don't remember him even charging me for it.

If I remember correctly the angle is important because the holes will somewhat miss the coolant channel in the head....or at least two of them. After mine were drilled I could shine a light in there and see the he hit the water channels dead center.

You can see the two screwdrivers I stuck in them to show their angled.
