That external full-flow filter option seems like a disaster waiting to happen. I have had several external oil lines rupture over the past 50 years and at the very least if makes an awful mess. With a full flow filter I fear I wouldn't get it shut down in time. I'd run a switch to the ignition and a buzzer; maybe I could adapt one of those wig-wags for low air-pressure that hangs down from above the windshield. Maybe I could leave it as is.
