With the block plug in the "out" position, it's still possible to run the same type of bypass fiter that the 216's and 235's ran for decades. The small diameter ports are sti there. If you choose to push the pug in, you MUST run large diameter lines and a full flow filter or the engine will get no oil at all from the pump.
