Last week, I was having a discussion with some buddies, and the topic of large trucks, specifically a 2-ton AD grain truck I was trying to help someone sell came up.

One fellow told me, here in Colorado you had to have a commercial drivers license to drive and insure one, because of the weight they're capable of hauling.

Have any of you come across a similiar experience or know differently? He claims his insurance company wouldn't even cover him until he could prove he had a commercial license???
