reo_guy Member R Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 197 southeast SD	I don't know why anyone would have to recertify a chassis to lower the gvw. The state law of SD states that I set GVW, not the manufacturer of the truck. Check your local laws before you spend any money. Jason
