Not sure if it varies in your state, but in Pennsylvania, the max gross weight for a regular license is 26,000.

Anything above that requires a commercial license.

Air brakes are also an issue.

If you are planning to buy this for exhibition purposes, you can lower the GVW rating to allow a regular license. This is fine unless you plan to haul heavy loads.

I just lowered mine from 33,000 to 25,000 for this purpose. This should also not be a problem to insure.
