The engineering and dyno testing has already been done on that one. A 3.8 liter Jag would also work well if you prefer a period-correct "dumb" engine without a computer. I'm wasting my own time by adapting a DOHC PT Cruiser head to a Model A Ford block.
My stroker crankshafts for 235 and 261 engines have 1/2" machined off the counterweights for piston skirt clearance, which lightens them up a little. Jerry
