A 454 in a '46... I didn't know they made shoehorns that big!

I went out to look at the truck again.. it's a 6500, not a 6400.. but from what I gather, it's still a 2 ton, just with a little longer wheelbase than the 6400.

Bringing my '46 2 ton home wasn't that big a deal since I had a straight 5 mile shot down a gravel county road, but the '52-'53 6500 has to come down about 4 miles of paved two lane road, and it might be too big to fit on the flatbed.


an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.
