There's a 7808 chip, in case anyone is curious...showing 8.01v output. I thought I had seen one of those in my misc box. Just took me a while to find it. Also checked resistance through the HF handheld meter. Didn't show any measurable resistance with the lowest possible setting on the APPA meter.
