I cleaned up the wheels with a wire brush on my electric drill. When I got all the rust and crud off I sanded them wtih 110 grit paper then 220 grit. I wiped them clean with lacquer thinner, sprayed primer and then painted them white with old fashioned enamel. The air compressor and paint gun all came from Home Depot. As I replace a tire, I sand and paint that wheel. Big Boatswain Blue 6100 with white wheels.
