One more comment on the paint- - - -I'd go with DuPont Imron. It's a polyurethane enamel that has the "wet" look for years after it's applied. It won't fade like the original-equipment paint that was applied to the truck when it was new, and it will only require an occasional wash job to keep it loking new. Waxing won't be necessary at all. When Imron was a new product about 30 years ago, it was applied to crop-duster airplanes that couldn't keep paint on them due to the chemical spray. It worked great until it was time to remove the paint for periodic inspection, and none of the normal paint strippers could touch it. It had to be SANDED off, until DuPont could develop a stripper that could take it off!
