I did that and it went very easy. Ended up doing it twice as after the first time I looked at the workbench and saw the alignment rings sitting there. It went just as easy the second time at least. The machine shop surfaced (decked?) both manifolds with the exhaust being the most off. Unfortunately, the work removed what I believe is the date code (C276) on the exhaust manifold. At least I wrote it down before dropping it off.
