I don't know if this will help....15 years ago I bought the 54-3100 cables from NAPA (may still be available), due to everything being constantly damp in Central Florida I packed the cable housings with a high pressure grease gun. You can also use a grease point adapter (small and pointed), to do the same thing. Working good still. It also does not hurt to put parking brake on every time you park your vehicle but don't leave it for more than a month. Like everything else it needs to be moved often. Jim Carter is a good company.
