I'm with Andy. Those brackets are not generally available new. You'll need to find a used one.
BTW, I believe they should clamp down on the metal spool at the end of the cable, not on the plastic coated shield. That may be why yours broke, trying to clamp down too far.
[on edit] Looks like I'm late to the discussion, and should have read the whole thread first. Anyway, I'm sure one of the suggestions will work.
