Question about vibration
Have a 235 with an SM420
When driving in third at cruising speed, I notice a vibration that can be felt in the gas pedal
The puzzling part is it doesn’t do this all the time
When it starts “acting up”, if I find the spot that is vibrating, if I let off the gas a bit it stops; if I give it more gas past that spot, sometimes it will go away. Once again, this does not happen all the time
It has a rebuilt tranny, new clutch and surfaced pressure plate
Could this be a harmonic balancer issue?
