Only a very few switches include intermittent circuitry. Over the last 15 or 20 years, intermittent pulses have become a black box function (far cheaper to incorporate the circuitry into proprietary IC chips and let the switch operate simply as a selector). Some makers will add the delay box in with the relays, but you'd need their switch to make it work...($$$). Which switch did you use?
Since posting I've calculated/tested the values and I've settled on the following time delays: 2 sec, 3.8 sec, 6 sec, 8.5 sec
I believe the 8 position switch and the relay will be the most expensive parts. The switch seems like about a $7 item and the relay about a $2.50 item. There will be 9 resistors, 1 capacitor, 2 transistors, 1 rectifier and a circuit board...all parts together $30 or so (less if I order more to cut the shipping cost per each one built or drive out to Mouser to pick up the items). That all depends on how many (if any) people are interested.
