I was not planing on making a tall deck 427 because,
As you said it would end up being built for the drag strip and I want somthing for the street with an ocasnal run down the strip.
The only reason I had anything to do with the 366 in the first place was the very tough forged steel crank wich would make a 427 out of a 454.
If I had a reguler 427 and wanted to get about 540-580 streetable HP what heads/intake/cam would you sugest that would still leave a littel margine for pulling a trailer or hauling a small load of fire wood
